Pallets – also known as skids - are used in many different industries as they are so versatile. Generally they are used for transporting but they can also be used for storing goods.

Pallets can come in a range of materials and are supplied in many variations. The most popular are standardised plastic pallets as they are useful for strong in areas where there isn't alot of storage space, they also come in wood. Roll pallets are also a popular choice for transporting goods such as laundry etc.

Box and cage pallets are used for storing things as they can be stacked on top of each other and they keep things tidy such as electrical supplies, and smaller goods that would be unsuitable for a standard pallet.
